Midland Talent Competition |
1967 |
|
The MONDAYS entered and won an all Midlands Talent Competition organised by E.M.I records. they were offered the chance of a recording contract but had to make a "demo-disc" chosen by E.M.I. They failed to meet the strict deadlines laid down by E.M.I. and paid heavily. This is a copy of a letter written on behalf of the MONDAYS which is self explanatory. Letter is addressed to Peter Eden who was the Recording Director at E.M.I Records London. |
