This postcard is a street scene from Tamworth and appears to be postmarked 6th Oct 1914.
On the reverse is written, 1751 C Coy., 1st Herefords, College Lane School, Tamworth - Have just got here, but find it very different from Northampton and a bed. Will have to put up with the floor now for a bit, love to all, Reg.
Postcard was written by Ledbury soldier Pte R.A PAUL who fought at Gallipoli and served throughout WW1 with the 1st Battalion and is addressed to his father who was headmaster at the local school.
