Martin Davies - Had Sunday lunch there in the late 1940s with my Grandfather who managed Beatty Bros factory. Has changed very little.

Sue Collett - my first real job as waitress in the early 70's was at The Feathers

Gillian John O'Callaghan - Would go there sometimes in early 70's with my grandparents - York- local milkman. Also Hereford Bull opposite.

Doreen Welch-Perri - Great picture with lots of memories going for it! My Gran, Ellen JEYNES (nee BALDWIN) was a chambermaid at The Feathers many moons ago.

Stuart Jay - Also Betty Baldwin was bar maid there for a long time.

Sylvia Manns - I was a cleaner at The Feathers back around 1975/76 at the same time as my wonderful mum-in-law, Eileen Manns was a Barmaid. She worked with Judy Thick and Sue Smith. I certainly did not like cleaning all the brass lol!!

Judy Hawthorn - Hi I remember your Mum we took her to London to be at Mark Perkins wedding with Geoff and Mike Perkins!

Sylvia Manns - Yes we remember her going to that wedding. She had a great weekend

Rosalie Daubney - Has the Feathers still got the sloping floor upstairs? Remember it from children's parties in the 50,s?

Raymond Mills - I had the job of cleaning those windows in late 60s to 1971. Wish I could regain that level of fitness again...happy days.

Lynne Long - My Mum Betty BALDWIN worked there as a young girl (she is 90 in Feb!) and then was morning barmaid there in the 60's. Used to be great fun as I was working at the Midland (HSBC now) Mum at The Feathers and Dad (Les BALDWIN) at Hopkins. Market day farmers would come to the bank then go and see Mum or bring things for Mum (often pheasants!!) which they would bring over to me to take home. Or they would come in the bank and say just been to see your Dad....they were great days
